A natural foods company was losing money. We rebuilt it into a profitable business — then helped it sell.

Country Life Natural Foods brought us in not to run a campaign, but to fix the company. We restructured the organization, cut the product line down to what actually worked, rebuilt the marketing, and took it from unprofitable to profitable in under three years.

The challenge

The business was losing money. That is rarely a marketing problem alone — it is usually a product, distribution, and focus problem wearing a marketing disguise. We were brought in to overhaul the entire organization, not to decorate it.

What we did

We restructured the organization and refined the product line — cutting what didn’t earn its shelf space and developing new products that did. We simplified the distribution channels rather than defending all of them.

Only then did we rebuild the marketing: new ad campaigns aimed at the customers the sharpened product line was actually built for.

The outcome

Losing moneyProfitable

Turned around in under 36 months — then sold. Simplified product line, simplified distribution, rebuilt campaigns.

Why it matters

Marketing cannot outrun a broken business. The reason this brand became sellable is that the underlying company was fixed first and marketed second — which is the order most agencies get backwards.
